Alcor Solar is a solar pool heating company located in the San Francisco bay area, serving its customers since 1981.

I have created many verions of AlcorSolar.com over the years since 2000. The current version is a fully responsive website featuring ASP.NET and Bootstrap 5. For an informational website it basically features a JQuery photo slider, embedded video and a secure contact form. In 2013, responding to the growing mobile market, I developed a dedicated mobile version of the site. This was accomplished through custom JavaScript device detection that would automatically redirect users to the appropriate version based on their device type.
